The goal was to create a group of extremely high quality, high performance products that would meet the needs of system designers in the most demanding circumstances.
Working with system designers as well as component manufacturers, Yorkville was able to incorporate leading edge proprietary technology into the design of the TX Series. In-house horn design and manufacturing capabilities have enabled us to do exhaustive experimentation with horn design and interaction. Close working relationships with industry leaders driver manufacturers has yielded new driver technologies that have been applied using state of the art network and box design techniques.
The Synergistic advantages always enjoyed by Yorkville as a result of our wide product range have been exploited to yield advanced network designs using a combination of passive and active technologies. All boxes incorporate a passive network that is designed to supplement the active crossover networks as well as protect high and mid frequency drivers from accidental exposure to low frequency information. Specific self-calibrating analog processors, incorporating an advanced protection scheme, have been developed for each system to optimize driver performance and amplifier utilization.
Operation is simplified through the use of Neutrik Speakon™ multi-pin connectors. These four and eight pin connectors feature a positive locking system as well as a large contact area for high current applications.
The TX2M, and TX4 two way enclosures include dual Speakon™ four pin connectors, while the TX8 three way enclosure features dual Speakon™ eight pin connectors as well as a single four pin connector that can be used to link to the TX9S which includes dual Speakon™ four pin connectors.
All trapezoidal TX-Series enclosures incorporate the AMTS series of internal brace flying hardware developed by ATM Fly-Ware™. The TX4 is equipped with internal braces (top and bottom) that incorporate a recessed 3" long flytrack as well as a 3/8" threaded hole. This unique combination enables the application of either track fittings or eyebolts for easy, flexible and safe enclosure suspension.
The TX8 incorporates a specially developed internal brace module that provides the end user with the quickest, most flexible and most accurate method of configuring large scale loudspeaker arrays available. The track based AMTS system has the capacity to either be arranged as a vertically stacked track system or a rigid horizontally arranged modular system through the use of connecting bars that are attached with quick release pin fasteners. In addition, both formats can be used within the same loudspeaker cluster in order to optimize set-up time without compromising loudspeaker array acoustical characteristics.
