Yorkville Expands Exm Battery-Powered Loudspeaker Range With Professional-Grade Models

January 23, 2025 (Toronto, ON) - Yorkville Sound is proud to introduce the EXM Pro12 and EXM Pro10 battery-powered loudspeakers at the 2025 Winter NAMM show. These new professional-grade models feature more powerful batteries and higher output levels than any previous EXM Mobile product, continuing Yorkville’s mission to bring extraordinary sound to extraordinary places.

The EXM Pro12 is a three-way high-performance PA system offering a combination of sought-after features that have never been available in a battery-powered format. It delivers 1900 watts of peak power and has a 12” neodymium woofer and 6.5”/1” coaxial high-frequency driver. Designed for mobile and wireless events that require high output and endurance, it sets a new standard for mobile professional audio.

The EXM Pro10 features a 10” woofer and 850 watts of peak power. Multiple built-in effects can be used simultaneously to tailor the sound from each input. The versatile, lightweight cabinet can be used vertically, tilted back, or placed horizontally for use as a monitor wedge.

Both models have an onboard 3-channel mixer, so they can be used without an external console. Using Bluetooth® connectivity, two cabinets can be paired wirelessly for stereo playback. Keeping the modern performer in mind, each unit is equipped with a USB port to charge external devices.

This increased power continues Yorkville’s tradition of innovation in battery-powered speaker technology. “The EXM Mobile8 was the first battery-powered 3-way speaker, and the EXM Mobile Sub was the first battery-powered subwoofer. Now, we have released the first professional-grade speakers with 48-volt batteries, helping musicians play for larger audiences in larger venues without requiring AC power.”
